Need Help!- Need some macro advice.

I am running a kia 4 axis lathe and want to build a mini macro to run a number of parts and advance .525 each time. I know how to do all of it except in an effort to "foolproof" it I want to be able to pull the G54 Z and B values and compare them to a limit set by me. does anyone out there know how to pull that value? I have found them in parameter 1221, but I don't know how to pull the number from it. the parameter looks something like this:

1221 X176401
Z-200424
B-242200
C0000

I want to be able to pull the number, put it in a variable, manipulate it accordingly then compare it to my set limit and if its ok then put it in a G10 line and insert into the G54 field. I can do that, but where do I get the number from? Thanks, Matt.

If this is a 0iT, look in variable #5222 for G54 Z.

This is in the operator's manual under Custom Macro - System Variables

Took me a second to figure out, I thought I could actually look through the parameters and SEE it. I ended up calling a local guy and he gave me the heads up that you just called it up and looked at it in a variable. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Matt.
