We're trying to get a Kitamura HX400i up and running that led a previous life well lubricated but never cleaned. There is coolant mist goop everywhere, and it's not as bad inside the electronics cabinets except around anything that has a fan. The fans a filthy and full of gunk. We got all kinds of amplifier alarms as we tried to power up, several related to the amplifier fans. We kickstarted the fans with an air blowgun to bring them to speed and we're mostly running except for an intermittent IPM fault on the V axis amplifier. I'd like to clean the fans, but don't want to pull the amps and lose the absolute position data stored by the batteries. Is there a simple way to just pull the fan for cleaning on the amplifiers, like on certain other models? Anybody got a service manual in pdf form for a Fanuc A06B-6096-H106 amplifier? Thanks, Stu |

| Evidently Google must work better in India. I always use Google first and generally do quite well. After wading though dozens of pages of Fanuc A06B-6096-H106 hits, I can tell you lots of places to buy another amp, but none that tell me how to service one. Do you work for Microsoft tech support by chance? You answer is about as useful as something they would provide... |

| Thanks! Evidently the amplifiers need to come out which means I'll lose the absolute position data and have to rehome all the axis. I guess I need to find a tech brief that tells me how to home these out after losing the encoder data before I go much further. Thanks, Stu |
