I just purchased a Yang SML-20 lathe with a fanuc o-td control. I am getting a 409 serial error. Can anyone tell me what that error is? Can anyone tell me where I can get a list of error codes for this lathe and control. thanks I would appreciate any help I can get.  |

| Sounds like a cable prob. make sure u are not using a cross over cable...or do u even have 1 connected yet? Here are some cable layouts http://www.machinetoolhelp.com/Appli...nications.html Cheers |

| Ahhhh..I thought that came up as an spindle amp. default but there it is in black and white.If it is the serial drive board,next question is how old is the machine?Has the spindle been running funny after being on for more than 1 shift? |
