I ass u me that it is either lubing to fast or not enough. I have had to do this a few times before as well. One of my previous VMC’s would burn thru a whole 3quarts in 4hrs. Then another VTL would only need filling every month. Somehow the timers got a bit mugged up. Stevo |

| Ya my problem exactly not enough lube, it turns on within the first 3 mins after start up then never again. 1- i've checked fuses relays all good 2- i've tried running a program and nadda 3- cracked lines and left for lunch zippo 4- the best is staring at it for like a 1/2 hr nuthing 5- the rubber lines that are right off the pump i did the "flick" test ( create air bubble and watch to see if it moves in a day ) uhm ya got zilch this machine has never had a PM done on it in 3 yrs the machine in question is FTC-20 Feeler (old slant) the ball screw has some discolouration on like brown varnish inside races , no lube on ways, but i know the lube pump works i have seen it run and watched the plc turn it on then shut it off ( via the led lights on the board with the relay) so now i want to check times |

| Just making sure. A LOT of people assume because it's oiling too much that they should turn down timers. That condition is always a broken line or stuck manifold. It's for sure a PMC parameter, but the proper parameter would be a timer set up by the machine builder. Not sure if you have the PC/PMC button on yours, or a aux button. Some you need to go to paramters then a PMC softkey will show up. |
