Does anyone have a rectangular pocet macro for a Fanuc Oi control. Basically need the operator to plane to thickness varying sizes of material without offline programming. I am still struggling to learn macro B (Fanuc manuals stink) and really could use the help. Thanks in advance to anyone with advice . Also the planeing tool is 4 inch diameter and the overlap is 3.5 inches per pass . |

| I would say it is face milling. Basically we are planing rough stock to thickness. I just meant that in respect to the geometry it is rectangular but not really a pocket . The entire surface would be milled to the same thickness. Any help would be appreciated. I have made a looped cycle that calls several subs of various sizes but it takes up alot of space and operators mill alot of air if they dont find a size that is close to the one needed. That is why a macro with variables that can be set by the operator would be so beneficial. Thanks for responding, I had almost lost hope. |

| On go MMSonline.com, I think it was June 2006 issue and there is one article under CNC talk wrote by Mike Lynn. It's axactly what you looking for, I tried and it work like a charm.
