Fanuc 6M-B Offset setup both work and tool

    Hi Every body,

I have an Enshu VMC 400 cnc mill which has fanuc 6M-B Control.

I have manual for that but i`m having hard time to setup Work offset and Tool offset for this machine.

The problem i`m having right now is, once i zero the work offset and when i run the program it goes all over the table and every time i press reset for program it resets the off set values as well and same for the tool offset ( this machine has multi tool option but is it is disabled for some reason and i can use only one tool at a time,

    Please help me out pals,

    Thanks

    Raj.

sounds like a MAN/ABS key or button issue. this push button on your control stands for manual / absolute some were a toggle switch on the control and others were a light up push button. if manual is selected it will take all offsets from wherever the machine is. if the absolute is selected then it always uses the offset from machine home position.

with your tool offsetts you have to cancel them before a tool change by useing a

    G49 H0

this way the next G43 H# it sees will work properly
