Sorry to be a thorn in everyones side here lately. Been in machining and programming for 25 years just recently bought my first cnc. and seat of mastercam. The machine has a fanuc 6mb control I have had several issues getting the parameters right. I wanted to clear the programs out of memory from the old owner the book said use the o-9999 delete to clear out memory. thinking back The write protected macro programs are stored in most machines in the 9000 program numbers. My question is did I wipe out program macros using this method of deleting and if I did how am I to get them load back up and where do I get them thanks

If the machine is new for you, why do you worry about old 8000/9000 series programs. Write your own macros to suit your requirements. And, if you want to protect a macro, assign program number in 8000/9000 series. The machine would work even if you do not have any 8000/9000 series programs stored on the machine. |
