fanuc 6m g code help needed

I finally got all my cross loading problems figured out and got the hitachi up and running. Thanks to all that helped. Now I got a couple of questions on the control. the control is a 6m b I believe. It has a lot more parameters than what an A had according to what i have read on the net. I have not found a page on the control to store xy&z offsets. So I am assuming the machine uses g92 to set x and y. I have not got my post for mastercam rewrote for this machine and it has been awhile since I used a g92 in programming. can someone shoot me a copy of what the g code should look like in the program so I can set up a post and or hand edit the changes in. Also need to know how to set the machine up when running g92. I have not tried to run a g54 thru the control on mdi to see if it will throw an alarm. The other problem I am having is the machine is not recognizing the g43 to pick up the tool off set. It alarms out with an alarm the g code does not exist. Is this a parameter issue or is there another code that was used to pick up tool offsets I am overlooking thanks

I assume you are referring to local work coordinate setting
here is the procedure for an 0T control I expect it to be similar
G92 is thread cutting cycle

g92 is used to reset the origin point when milling. It is a thread cutting cycle when used in turning

Haven't used G92 in a long while...

IIRC, move the machine to where you need it, then issue G92 to change readout. example make X6 read X0

G0 X6 Y0 Z0
G92 X0 Y0 Z0

And G92 has to be used in absolute mode. Incremental is not allowed.

G90, G91, G92: Coordinate Systems.
G92: Working Coordinate Systems. The programmer can designate a coordinate as the "reference point", this "reference point" can be used as the reference for the rest of the coordinates.
I think you input G92 X6. Y0 Z0 (X6. not X6)
X6 = X0.006 (0)

In metric mode (say), X6. or X6.0 always refers to 6 mm distance.
But X6 may refer to either 6 mm or 6 microns, depending on a parameter setting.
It is safer, hence a good practice, to provide a point.
