    F15 TA

We have a dead 15TA, was shipped separate from a machine we just got. Was able to get it all powered up but need to unlock the 9000 option parameters. I have the parameter list, and all other data. Anyone know the codes/procedures? BTW, the A and B controls are different in this regard.

    Thanks

You just need to set the 8000 PWE bit.
    see PDF.
I have another which is too large to upload, PM me if you want it.

Thanks Al, we tried that yesterday with some strange happenings, but I did find the pass codes in my old service files last night. Turns out this is a "imported" GE Fanuc 15TA with boards on it i've never seen before in my 20 years of service. All being said, 15 controls were not common on any of the builders I worked for, so i'll update as I go.

So I assume that you are changing them via hexadecimal format? Are they not taking into the control?

Well, the 15A we have will not take the unlock codes I have, and yes if it did you could put option parameters in in Hex, or by just changing bits in the parameters. I was able to get the parameters including options to finally load through the RS232, since we never saw this machine ever run, it was starting from scratch as far as RS232 on this one. I'm working through some other issues at the moment, one being the PMC paramters. Trying to get those to load through RS232, but it's possible the control won't do it. I don't mind entering those by hand, as there are not that many, but I can't seem to make sense of the printout other than keeprealys and counters. The data ones are the ones I can't seem to figure out.
