I had been getting an occasional circuit breaker pop that turned constant, I changed the buck/boost taps to 275V input which stopped the breaker and let me see that the OC/FL led was lit. After a lot of probing and poking I checked the field at the motor and found it to be about 3.4 Ohms, the armature checks at 1.3 Ohms. Is this usual? If not what should the field be? Any help appreiciated. Ed. |
