Looks like something the same was discussed but in the matter of what these functions really are. But here I'd like to ask about some comparison. The base is the following - there are Vertical Milling Centers with 0iMC controls. So if we pay some thousands of USD we got the machine with the possibility to turn on AI APC by G05.1Q1. If we pay some extra thousands of USD we can get the same machine with AICC turned on by the same code G05.1Q1. So this is my question - how to make things that way that I can feel the difference between these two modes? Is it possible to make the machine with AICC installed run with AI APC so that to machine two surfaces with these two different modes and compare. Looks like G08 does not work at all (error message) so I don't think that AI APC can be switched on by this code. Any thoughts or opinions? |

| According to the 0i Descriptions Manual: APC is not available on the M series AI APC is standard on the M series AICC is optional on the M series with Pkg. A AI APC look-ahead up to 20 blocks AICC look-ahead up to 40 blocks |
