| I have a 11 series controler. My axis motor overheated and started alarming. I replaced the motor but now find that when powered up I draw 0 amps. But when I move the axis it jumps to 12 amps and continues to draw 12 amps even when stopped. I hace change encoders. power supply and checked that all parameters are original. Without the motor attached to the ballscrew it seens OK. I can muve the axis without the motor atatched by hand. I have backed off the gibs and such to eliminate mechanical load. Anyone have a idea as to what I might be missing? |
