Hi Guys I wonder if anyone has a PDF of manual for 10T or at least error code listing, how to clear them, etc. I am not familiar with the Fanucs I just got access to a ("TREE" I think) Fanuc 10T upon power up I get these codes and I can not get to clear them. (I just don't know how, I guess. just tried every button or combination) SV E30 Emerg. stop OT1-- Spindle Alarm. These are not critical alarms. just notification, I think. should be easy. the Spindle alarm was triggered, I think, bc the encoder was disconnected in order to remove covers (all outer housing/shell for clean up.) at the next Power up the encoder was not detected , thus the error. but once reconnected I could not clear the error. I would appreciate if I someone had a PDF manual, sections of. or just directions (I did go to the Fanuc website but couldn't find any suitable answers or specific docs. [besides a "not quite" error list]) Thanks. Al |

| They Spindle Amp itself doesn't have any display or LEDs of any sort. too Old? A20B-0009-053 I think the board says. but the other 2 amps do have a bar-graph type of LED array. (all off) the Motherboard does have a "1" on the 1 Digit display BTW the CRT display: SVE30 Emerg. stop OT100 Spindle Alarm. the ALM keeps flashing on CRT As far as I can tell the Spindle doesn't have any sensors other than the encoder, (maybe pressure for the Chuck but that doesn't have to be on the spindle.) When we first fired up the mach. and the alarms came on we found the Encoder disconnected. Pwr down, reconnect, and alm still there. maybe I just don't know HOW to reset. Thanks. AL |

| Hi Guys Still trying to correct this machine. w 10T control I think the original error might have been cleared when I reconnected the Encoder connector on the Spindle but I have not been able to RESET the displayed errors. I only see one RESET button on the control panel at the Keypad. I find no other reset except for the EM STOP mushroom button. it is possible that the RESET button is bad but unlikely since it is rarely used. I am not familiar with Fanucs, Does anyone know how to reset this machine? like Master reset, Hold certain button while power up, combination of buttons, etc. Also I am hoping someone might have a PDF version of manual or sections of This machine has an Encoder on the spindle and no other sensors. and driven by belts from Gearbox mounted below. Gear box only has the LO-HI Gear position sensors on it Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks AL Originally Posted by fanucman " its in estop because you are getting a spindle alarm.. when the alarm is displayed what doe the spindle amp show on the display?" Hey Fanuc. | hi m8 please tell us the numbers of these alarms. u can reset the alarms but u have to read the ladder the machine is working with these alarms? if is a serial spindel link alarm is a little bit difficult to reset of course u can reset the parameters but be sure u have saved them on a memory card or via rs232. when u have the parameters saved i will tell u how to reset . try to reach the ladder and take a look there . try to look in diagnose and try to find the alarm signal. with this signal of alarm u can go in ladder and check the equation for this alarm. give us more details about the numbers of alarms----u said the alarms but no numbers in front. GOOD LUCK! |

| Well, I did list the errors 2 times here they are again: SV030 Emerg. stop (this, bc of the spindle Alarm as Fanucman said) OT100 Spindle Alarm. They only show on the CRT display. The Spindle drive does NOT have any error codes. on the Binary LEDs (all OFF including the PIL light, whatever that is) The Screen Alarms showed up upon FIRST power up. We discovered that the Connector to the Spindle encoder was was OFF and reconnected. that probably took care of the Cause. NOW all there is to do is CLEAR the screen of alarm warnings. (I'm Hoping) and proceed. I have only found 1 reset on the Keypad. Does NOT reset the screen. I tried Holding the reset for many seconds. I tried hitting the Power button while holding Reset button. Still nothing. Thanks for the reply and support AL |
