    Problem with fanuc 01

I have the following problem with FANUC Series Oi Mate model B
When the machine is switched on the following alarm appears:

    971 NMI OCCURRED IN PMCLSI
With the PMC-SA1, an error occured in the PMC control LSI device on motherboard
    (I/O RAM parity)

    We can't do nothing then.
Any suggestions for dissolving this problem?

I have never personally had this error but found the alarm message and description in the manual. It says to check the I/O unit. See attachment.

971 usually means the main pcb has to be changed. Good new is you can still go to the boot screen and back up the SRAM. Bad news FANUC will not sell a main pcb without service coming out to replace it.
