My first post so hope I am posting this in the correct place. I am helping a company near me with training their programmers and have ended up helping set up the machine(ANDI) itself due to some problems with the set up team. I have the programs I have made sending down to the machine ok, and do run, however I am having a problem starting the first program of the day. The machine thinks there is already tool 1 in the spindle when I start up. What command do I send to clear the spindle? I'm assuming its an MDI command? My thanks in advance.... |

| surely this has been resolved by now, however, just in case My andi stratos using mdi command t alond with spindle no. and o to t 10 would remove tool from spindle 1 other wise I am confused because you stated your machine thinks there is a tool. With my andi even if the tool is removed manually it knows there is no tool in the spindle. I get an alarm somtimes when I confuse the thing -alarm is wrong tool M95 clears code M97 t10 tells it there is no tool in spindle M94 t1? tells it the position of the carosel where ? equals tool in front of spindle. |
