| First, if you still can, make a back up of everything. Parameters, programs, macro programs, etc. The new board will need the chips from the original board. gently pry the chips from the socket, careful not to bend legs, and insert it into the same socket on the new board making sure it is oriented the same way. There is a dimple on one end. Exchange all chips that are in sockets. If there are any jumpers, they will have to be set to the same as the old board. You will then have to load in your back up parameters, programs etc. May need to set up communication parameters manually to upload backup. Document all as you go. Hope this helps. |
