High Speed File Server

Anyone here used this or a product like this? The dealer thought that you could edit programs through the control when using this..but wasn't sure with my control. It was too late to talk to them today so tomorrow I will find out the details. $1850. If it works I am going to jump on it. I have to find out some way to make this thing actually cut chips for a change.

Is that price for the whole configuration, or just the Ax2200HS-Fs unit? Otherwise, it is going to be an expensive option. It pretty much mimics the Fanuc data server in functionality, except transfer to the machine which is RS232 with this option, and Ethernet with data server.

It looks to have much the same functionality, but at about 1/4 the price. The high speed transfer may be beyond what you can put to use, depending on your machine and control.
