Cool Spildle Orientation in VMC - Fanuc OM

Hi to all,
Recently i've faced a problem of spindle belt cut in VMC having fanuc OM controller.

I replaced the belt and orientation position corrected in the parameter no 6577.It is working fine.

but When ever i switched off the machine, spindle orientation is not hapenning for a long while (ie Spindle keep on rotating in 197 rpm).

If i left the machine with m19 command, after a long delay it is stopped in the orientation position, then as long as machine is on there is no problem with spindle

Check one rev

Check the one revolution signal. Check the sensor inside the motor (Power off).
Check the cable coming out from the sensor.

1.How to check the one revolution signal?
2.Spindle speed position error is zero.(ie it is running with respect to given S ----command)
3.Spindle is performing drilling, boring, reaming operation fine

You say "Spindle is performing drilling, boring, reaming operation fine". This is done by the spindle because to do this it uses an encoder. To do the orientation the spindle uses the sensor.
If you check the spindle amplifier you will see one cable going to JY2 and the other should go maybe to JY4. JY4 goes to the encoder and JY2 is for the sensor. It will be difficult to check the signal at JY2. You might want to check the cable JY2. Maybe loose connection? Power off and try to disconnect and connect the JY2 connector.

regards
