I hope someone can help, We are running a old Fagor 8025. there was a -z movement in the program that grounded the head on the table. I cannot get it off the table, have tried to home it out and also just z+, also turned of the machine and back on, nothings working. Any advise would be great, thanks |

| I'd check for mechanical problems, if it hit with any amount of power behind it you may have damaged your ball screws and other vital machine areas. Also check the fuses in the drive amplifiers. Finally the last thing to try- depending on how hard it hit, it may have overtravelled the Z axis. The machine will simply not move if it is outside the soft position limits, so you might need to move the Z negative soft position limit to well below the point of impact just so that the machine can raise itself clear again. |
