| We have 7 Axis hooked up to a 8055M. One of the never used axis servos is dead, so not the "Reference All" won't work any more. The dead axis is one that has not been used since we got the machine, so we just want to disable / remove it, atleast for the time being. What do I need to do to eliminate it so when the operator hits "Reference All" it will complete without any errors? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

On the general parameters screen you have all the axis listed (P0-P7) and each one had a value that represents the axis name. Which ever axis you wish to no longer use, simply change that corresponding axis to 0 and then reset the control (press shift and then reset) and you should no longer see that axis. The installation manual has all the lists of which port relates to which parameter and what number is what label/name for the axis. http://fagorautomation.com/pub/doc/F..._8055_inst.pdf |
