FAGOR 8055 Ethernet

I have seen and read of people doing this, and I have been trying, without any luck.

I know I have to use the NetBeui protocal because the age of my unit, but I am still unable to get it to work.

Here is what I have in the machine:
P001: 0
P002: FAGOR8055
P003: MSHOME
The rest is blank, although I have tried others.

I have installed the NetBeui on the XP machine we are using, although it just has the default settings.

I am guessing that the computer setting needs to be changed, but what too?

Currently the Network ID is 00000000 and the Frame Type is Auto. Workgroup is set to MSHOME.

If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it!

If you still have a problem, you can call the Fagor Automation USA HQ office at 800-423-2467 and get help. Several of the guys in that office have a lot of experience with networks and the 8055 and I am quite sure one of them could get you going quickly.

Although your link is for the latest version of the control, which supports TCP IP, the older versions supported NetBeui. While I have the manual for my controller it is not much help, because the PC portion is based on NT4 not XP.
