WHILE DIGITIZING WITH RENISHAW MP11 PROBE WILL BE WORKING FINE AND THEN MACHINE JUST TAKES OFF AND THEN RIPS STYLUS OUT AND NOT SURE IF ITS A PROBLEM WITH PROBE OR MACHINE HAS ANYBODY ELSE SEEN THIS PROBLEM OTHER THAN THAT MACHINE RUNS FINE WHILE CUTTING

the machine is used to port cylinder heads and when digitizing the probe is going around the port touching and then for no reason the y axis or somtimes x axis will go to maximum travelwont stop until it hits the limit switch or i hit the emergency stop i bought this machine from a shop that already had it set up for porting cylinder heads it acts like the probe just forgets wwere its at

Just had it with my renishaw sp2-1 on z axis - exact the same behavier as you have written....
