I have been struggling with this problem for a while and cant seem to get much help anywhere. I am new to this site and hope someone can help me out. I have lost the 24v power and was told to check the e-stop circuit and power supply. The e-stop swich is new, the power supply is new and still no 24v. I have checked the overtravel switches for each axis and they are good. I have traced the 24v output wires to the terminal strip and no 24v there, so I pulled everything off that required 24v and then I had 24v. I then started conecting them back up one at a time until I lost the 24v. When I hooked up the I/O 1 I lost it, I pulled it off and hooked up I/O 2 and lost it. So I dont know where to go from here, is it in the control somewhere on a board or is it something else? I dont know where else to look? Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks |

| On my machine, the I/O 1 is for the e-stop circuit. Sounds like something is grounding it out... Maybe the new switch has a different wiring pattern than the old one. If you can check the PLC screen, it should tell you what you use those wires for. If not, my guess would be call the machine manufacture. |
