    Unhappy G02 G03 reversal

    the lathe i am using is a binns and berry with a fagor 8025ts controller
    i new there was something wrong with the system as when you press the x+ on the controller the slide moves in x- out(programing x+ moves in the right direction i think its for a rear toolpost and mine is a front) the hand wheel moves in the right direction my main problem is using a g68 canned cycle it will rough out alright (with g02 and g03) but error comes up on final pass so the p7 line i put in 0 so no final pass and wrote a separate final pass and i noticed that the g02 line was doing a g03 and vice versa so i changed my g02s to go3 and it worked
    i can only think the machine is set up for a rear toolpost but i dont understand how the roughing cycle is alright

    I just had to reload the parameters in a 8025 and recall that there are parameters that control the sign of axis movement including I think jog mode.

    To get to the parameters, use op mode 9, general parameters. You'll need to look up which one controls jog in your manual.

    Try this also, I happened on this today.

    Reversing the G02 and G03 directions
    When changing axis direction the interpolation direction changes,
    this requires parameter P600 bit 1 to be changed.
    If the machine runs the G02 and G03 in the wrong direction, change this parameter.
    P600=0000001 change to P600=00000000
    P600=0000000 change to P600=00000001

    As always write down your current values prior to making any changes
