Fagor 8055 calibration problem

I used a Fagor 8055 CNC controller for the first time today and noticed that whenever I told the machine to move 1" laterally, it actually moved 1.020". The other axis seemed to be fine. Is there a variable or setting in the user interface where I can apply a scale factor to correct this problem?

Is it actually a scale effect? Or does it get that much of a movement error on any motion. For instance tell it to move to 6.000" and see how far out it is.

I know for a fact that both of the Fagor 8025 control machine I am using have issues where the axis will randomly be out of position by .020" regardless of where on the table it is and am trying to figure out why.

Does yours do it constantly? Mine seem to be random, sometimes it is there sometimes it isn't.
