What kind of machine is it attached to?

Have you checked for the presence of a PLC in the system?

The 8020 does not have a PLC, it instead utilized dedicated inputs and outputs...... your control will operate if you jumper pins 14, 15 & 16 on I/O 1 to 24vdc and have 0vdc on the reference inputs of the I/O 1 connector..... these are the NOT E-stop in, NOT Feedhold & NOT cycle stop inputs..... thus beware if you actually do that.

However, all parameters must be set accordingly as to the machine configuration to have good axes movement..... dependant on where you are, you should contact a local Fagor office to find out where the best help for you is located. This link will help direct you to the appropriate phone #'s. http://www.fagorautomation.com/_bin/red_comercial.php

I hope this is helpful and good luck !
