Unhappy

Really sorry to hear that...as I said before...sometimes managment doesn't see or understand the real value of an individual to the company such as you.

He's Helped Us, Let's See if We Can Help Him

Neal,

That is truly very sad news. We all wish you the very best, and I personally would be very pleased to offer my humble references on your behalf.

I met you personally at the factory soon after our machine purchase about 7 years ago and we have spoken several times. Your help was of immeasurable benefit to me.

The support you offered here as a perhaps un-official rep of Fadal was of untold worth to the company in terms of not just simple tech support but of PR as well.

-- Your presence here will be missed as a Fadal guru, we hope you'll stick around as a friend now.

Dennis

Posted at MAG Fadal

I just posted this in the MAG Fadal Contact Form:

It has come to my attention that the position in tech support held by Neal has been eliminated. You should be aware that this news is rippling throughout the machine community.

Neal has been invaluable to Fadal owners worldwide as an inside source to technical problems on a day-to-day basis without customers having to burden phone support, and enjoying a community 24/7 access.

In today's manufacturing environment, factory support is a huge aspect of the buying decision, to the degree that when deciding on a Fadal or a Haas, factors like Neal being there for support can be a significant influence.

I do hope that Fadal thought very carefully in their decision to eliminate Neal as an asset. Personally, I don't think it was a cost effective choice.

Sorry Neal

Neal,
Sorry to hear that, for you and us. I have talked to you for years, when I needed help on Rocom Corp.'s fadals. Now I have one of my own and hoped that service would still be available. Isn't Hoss working for the old southern cali fadal dealer? American Machine Tool? Have you checked with them or VMCelectrics? Someone with your knowledge of Fadal would have to be invaluable to them.

Neal,

I don't know you but, you sound like a valuable guy. Ever thought of taking your skills over to the competition?

Extensive knowledge of the competition and a strong technical background make for a credible sales guy. I don't really know sales but, I would expect that most shop owners hate having smoke blown up their butts by know-nothing sales people.

Besides, weren't Fadal and Haas across the street from each other in Chatsworth? There's probably already a lot of inbreeding between the companies.
