1. Was their ever a 8535 built? One controller we have in the shop shows this as an option. 2. Were black and white stripes and grey paint an option from the factory? I have seen 3 of these for sale this year so far.

| Question #1-- The 8535 was planned but was never developed. Software engineering were ahead of the actual production. Question #2-- Although we did do some "custom" paint jobs the zerbra senario I have never seen on the assembly floor. Neal |

Tried to start from the middle of a 17 hour program which I shut down last night. All ready to go this morning to do a "mid-tape" start and it won't pick up the line....... Format 1, '99 vintage multiprocessor Fadal control on a 4020. Used command: AU,2180.55,,,1 (wanted to start at line N2180.55 T5 M6 Program is about 71000 lines of code held in memory. Used a .05 line increment to avoid the 33000 line control limit (that's what I read somewhere) The display at first looks like it's going looking and everything looks fine, then nothing. Figured it didn't like a decimal in the AU,n,,, so decided to find the next earliest integer line number, N2180 and try it. Jogged spindle down a bit, entered AU,2180,,,1 and the table started to move. Hand on Big Red Button, sweating,....it got to N2180.55 and did the tool change and we were up and running. The question is....Am I doing something wrong or does the control simply not accept decimals in the line number? Is there a workaround? Nothing in the manual on this, and I didn't think it should take more than 3 minutes or so for the control to wander from the start down to my desired line # and get started. It did say on an error message 'Not found'. |

| TRY PUTTING YOUR CURSOR ON THE TOOL CHANGE LINE WHILE IN THE (PA) EDIT MODE - THEN HIT THE AUTO KEY AND YOU SHOULD GET A NEW SCREEN AT THE BOTTOM - USE OPTION THREE - SEARCH ALL MODALS AND BEGIN HERE - THIS IS FASTER THAN THE AU,LINE COMMAND FADALSERVICEGUY |

I have run over this. The only time my '94 stopped taking a program was at 100,000.
