Memory problem

I have a 4020 fadal milling machine and it had a expanded memory chips added to it about 4 years ago it is about a 2000 year model .After running a very long program about 2 weeks after, the machine started to experince some problems when sending programs back and forth,then we found a lose board it was under the cage were all the servo boards plug into.So I pushed it back in to place and now it will not reconized the extended memory.How do I go about trying to install this memory?

Was the loose board the long board that plugs into the card in slot #5? The card in slot #5 is the CPU and the long card is the expanded memory board. If this is the board you had problems with, remove the CPU from the card cage and unplug the memory expansion board and reseat it. You will need to do a zero memory procedure after you re0install the CPU. Call me and I will e-mail or fax you the Zero memory procedure. Get this procedure BEFORE you remove the memory card as you will need to record some data to reinsert later. 818 727-2100 option #4
