bobcad v23

i'm not a salesman for bobcad but i will say this for them. we purchased a 92 mod. 4020ht fadal about 2 mths ago. the programming was a ***** trying to figure out on my own. i was able to persuade the owner into buying me a laptop and the v23 software. it took only about a week and i was programing parts in a third of the time it was taking me to at the fadal console. i was very impressed with the ease of this software and that it has made setting up and programming this machine so much easier. any newbie's out there having trouble with programming a fadal might want to really consider purchasing a cad/cam system for it. this sight here has also been a big help. thanks, jerry mills.

Buy me a Beer?

BobCAD seems to get a "bad rap" on these forums, and like you, I love it. I bought V23, and it has proven easy to use and I can do everything I need with it. I do believe there were major problems with V22, I hate the constant sales calls like everyone else, but the software is fantastic and the price is VERY low for what you get compared to other options.

shipping

the head will need to be blocked and bolted to the table and the counterweight will need to be secured with the shipping bars it came with,or some will need to be made.if you need pictures i have a set of shipping bars.the battery on the cnc cpu may be dead but all that will need to be done is you will need to type in the parameters from the inside of the monitor door and reset the backlash, after powering up and letting the battery charge a bit, or replace it. The cmos battery is only on the machines with a 32mp control that has the pc built into it,most machine dont have this option.
