| All axis will not move Hello , i have a fadal with a siemens 840 d controller. We just got this machine so im not too familiar with it. Everything was working fine and now the x,y and z will not move. The numbers on the screen are moving as normal when trying to jog. But no axis will move. This started after a day of using it. The machine is presently not at its home position, i can not bring to home position due to not being able to move any axis. The feed is not at 0. Tried restart, reset, shut the machine completely off. There is oil and air pressure. Everything seems to be normal on controller. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks, |

| Do you have any switches ON on the front panel ? "Machine lock" would disable any axes from moving but allow the readout to simulate movement and run graphics for program checking |

| Check the door switch? Did you close the door?

| The only thing i have selected is the mpg, to jog it. The doors are closed. I have tried all options for the axis to move in small increments to large increments. I also keep making sure the feed is not at zero. Its wierd bec it shows the coordinates are moving on the screen but its almost like the x,y,z are all stuck....?? |
