Default fadal, inconsistent fixture offset, using A-axis

    guys,
I'm not a Fadal expert and nether is our operator.

we have had numorous errors regarding the y axis fixture offset being centered to the a-axis. most recently, the offset has gone from y-.035 to now y+.026!! all other axes have been consistent.
as i'm not at the machine much, im having trouble figuring out what is going wrong. mechanical (only two bolts holding rotary) or control operation error or a problem with the machine (bad CS switch).
the operator claims to send the machine home at night and CS in the morn the same everyday.
the manual lists multiple coordinate systems, why?
    1. machine coordinate sys
    2. tooling coord sys
    3. fixture offset
    4. program coord.
is there a page where one can see, machine pos, absolute pos, distance to go etc.. like a normal mill????

    format 2, btw.
if the a axis was at E1 A0 before the tool change shouln't it still be there after (but bufore reading new a location)???

Every time the machine is CS (cold Start) will ask *Want to go to the last home position?
If the home position is a the CS (all axis at the marks), the machine is not going to
move. Normaly E1 is XOYOZ0A0B0, After moves to a given FIXTURE OFFSET, that would be your new Home position.
    1. machine coordinate sys -from the cs position to the travel limits
    2. tooling coord sys-Tool table
    3. fixture offset- to stablish a new program or part position

    N94910 G0 G90 S3500 M3 E1 X-7.075 Y0. A-327.11
Here (don't know the E1) suppose is X3.Y3.A90; all 3 axis will move to that position
    after readind the E1..

If you are doing any heavy milling or semi heavy you should use a knee bolted to back of A Axis if possible. Sounds like it is moving.

    Good Luck.

    There are no CS switches.
The operator uses eyeballs and alignment marks.
Typically an incorrect CS will be off by a substantial amount (1 rev of the ballscrew).
