Who makes a Cat 40 4 axis head?

Looking for a CAT 40 taper servo A or B axis head for a Fadal. Not looking for a 5 axis head I want to do 5 axis using an A axis on the table and a B on the head. Is their anything like this out there?

They make a pretty slick looking deal. The videos even have it on a Fadal. Depending on your software, the post processor would probably be a nightmare.
Hope this helps

You are correct sir, it appears my reading skills are diminishing. Maybe if you contacted them they might have that as an option. Good luck!

Talked to them months ago they really didnt have much interest. Tried to light a fire but it was extinguished

A 4th axis head for a Fadal would make 5 axis operations possible on a 20" Z (most common) VMC. This would REALLY up the value of the smaller Fadals. I like the 5 axis head idea but eating up 10 full inches of Z on one of our 6030s just doesnt appeal.

Wow, I did not realize they took up that much Z. Your avatar is cool by the way. I cant see clearly, but are you running an A over B setup?

I was actually the one who first installed Tri-Tech's 4th and 5th axis on the spindle for them. I was going to recommend them here but you don't want the 4th axis on the head. As far as I know, no one offers just the 5th axis alone...you would have to have someone design it.
