Need Help!- Engraving Mirror Letters for Mold

Hi Everyone,
We are trying to engrave letters inside of a mold and we need the letters to be reverse so that when the part comes out you are able to read them. We tryed changing the R3 parameter from 0 to 180 and all that does is flip all the letters upside down. We need the letters to be reverse. The machine that we have are two Fadal VMC 3016, hope someone out there can help us out. Thanks in advance Kathy

You can use the G51.1 mirror image along with the R3 angular parameter to orient the letters however you need them. You will need to adjust the start point accordingly.

Neil thank you very much, it worked. I had tryed the G51.1 but I had the R3 parameter at 0 and it flip everything upside down but with the R3 parameter at 180 it makes the letter reverse. Thanks again Kathy

OOOPPPS! I almost missed it. You have a zero for the program name instead of the letter "O"!!!!!!!!!!


Your program is fine. Do you have any tool diameter in the tool table on line 10? If you do take it out.
