    helical radius too small

    fadal gives me alarm helical radius too small milling like truemill

    Look at cutter comp.... and the arc in the G- code, I and J R ect... starting point...

    You need to make sure your post doesn't make super-tiny helical moves. I've had the problem before, and it's fixable by making sure your CAM software doesn't export things like 0.002" arcs.

    It also happens sometimes that the control just gets angry at a specific program and you can get it to work just by changing the subtlest thing and reposting (like changing stepover from 0.25 to 0.2501 or something).

    There's no logical reason either of these things should happen, but there's also no way to stop them from happening on a program if they do. They should have programmed the control to account for tiny arcs, but instead they just made it fault.

    There is a logic to this issue. There is a ratio bewteen length of the arc and the rise or fall of the helix. The control CANNOT split a .0001" rise or fall move. Also the feed rate and segment length have a relation ship that can not be ignored.
