 weird axis fault | |
Greeting everyone!
This morning when I boot up our 87' 4020 904-1, I got "X Axis Fault(s) as follows: Axis controller does not respond to NC" display on the screen. The table moves itself along X axis about 1.5" per minute and Y axis about 1/2" per minute and they don't stop and the alphabet X keep popping up at the prompt on the screen. Pressing E Stop will stop everything but as soon as I turn the E Stop off and everything goes at it again and then it just look like invisible man is pressing the X key down and XXXXXXXX just keep coming on the screen.
I turned it off, press all the reset buttons and power up and everything is still the same. Is there anything I should try before getting a technician out? Any information will be grateful. Thanks a bunch!
