    help fadal mill

    Have rotary on a axis keeps alarming ( resolver error installed one resolver worked shut machine two days later same error)

    Have you checked your feed back voltage? It should be approx 1.8 vots AC at the controller card. Exactly what error code are you getting? What have you check and what are the results?

    Neal, error code is 17 resolve or motor over load. I have replaced the resolve and used the "A" axis 1 time with no problem tried to use the axis today and got error. Sense Jan. of this year this is the second resolve installed. I can't see that being the problem I was thinking a board, cable,or connection somewere.I started this thread to see if someone has had this problem and could guide me in the right direction I'm running out of things. Thanks for any input.

    I had an wire harness problem that came back now and then with the A axis. Wire got snagged behine a way cover when I jogged the table in X direction and it stopped abruptly when it snagged, had that error ever since but only now and then...
