| I heard a rumor Fadal has a new line that has a updated SCREAMING control and a new lathe. I also heard a prototype is in a shop in Germany and is working well. You dont have to confirm these rumors just make sure you have a good day Neal!

| About a year and a half ago I was trying to get my company to purchase a gantry mill to replace an antiquated Komo cnc from the early 80s that didn't even have a tool changer. Sadly, management decided money was better spent on lean consultants with no practical mfg background but in the process of apparently wasting the dealer's time he told me all kinds of stuff about the Fadals he was selling. He wasn't exactly anamored with the idea of selling Fadals with yet another control but he seemed pretty convinced that Fadal was on the verge of introducing some kind of totally radical machining center with really innovative architecture. Something about rebadging Leadwell lathes also came up but it was this new mill that he hopped held some kind of great promise. Any truth in this? |

| We just had a Fadal factory guy do a service call for us week before last. I called the number, they requested a P.O., we faxed it, they came. Ta Da!! He even installed a new part he had on the truck. Charged us $14, which was quite reasonable, I thought. I signed his electronic gizmo, we got a bill. .....Unless Haas is intercepting service calls and sending in a phoney dressed in a Fadal shirt....But the invoice said Fadal. Goin' on 7 years of essentially trouble free ownership of our 4020. |
