I was wondering if this is possible?I need to cut a .125" radius on the top of a circle in the YZ plane all the way around. The circle has a 45 degree taper to it,the top diameter is 2.549",the bottom diameter is 3.225".I am using a .25" ball end mill.I have the code for the radius, but cannot use G68 to rotate it.Is it possible to do so? o125 L100 G0 G17 E2 x0 y-1.412 G0 H79 Z.065(tool height is set .125 below top of part) G19 G2Y-1.249Z.125J.173K-.219F5. This moves the way I expect it to,but when I put in the circular interpolation it cuts the arc in the wrong direction.Any help would be appreciated thanks. |
