Cleaning out tool Carasol

Whats the best way to clean out a tool carasol in a 40x20

Over time chips and coolant gets in there and I really need to take all the tools out and clean it good.

is there a code that will put the carasol in the tool change position so the door opens leaving the z all the way up so I can rotate it with the buttons pull the tools and clean it out then put them back in?

or do I have to pull each tool into the spindle take them out call the next tool etc etc.

I know I can manually put the z axis up then take my finger and open the carasol but with the buttons work to rotate it( I never tried that and didnt want to)

tc,1
that will leave the tool changer open.
sometimes I just put the coolant on the carousel and press the turret buttons.
the coolant will dissolve the old coolant

good luck

If you wrap 3 or 4 rags around a toolholder and hold down the ccw button it will wipe the walls clean all the way around. Just make shure you remove the rags when you are done

You can download the operator manual.
The TC command is explained in it (but you already knew that )

yeah I downloaded them all had office max print them out for me a few years ago.
I figured it would be easier to ask then open the 150+ bucks in books
but on the bright side of being dumb and asking a silly question in2glamisgirl had a pretty good tip.

A toilet bowl brush works pretty good.
