When I give the 4020 a G84.1, the whole thing locks up... I'm just learning CNC, so I may not have given it enough info, so what should a typical line look like? Is this code, a rigid tapping cycle, a feature or option? if so, is there any way to tell if the machine is equipped with it? Thanks in advance, Mason |

| Look at your spindle vector drive. The tag should say "RT Ready" if not you don't have rigid tap. I think you can go to the enter next command and type SETP (Rigid=Yes in SetP) and it should tell you what is installed. just don't change any of the settings. |
