Hi everybody, I hope this is an easy question but no one in the shop knows:

What Fanuc control is used in the 32MP on a Fadal VMC 6535-50? I'm trying to help them connect via rs232 to a laptop running CNCmax and all we know is the baud rate is set to 38400. I'm hoping to find what stop bits, parity, Xon/Xoff and so on. We get a short transfer with goofy characters so I think we're close.

It is a Fadal 88HS control

Thanks, I'm closer because now it sends a few lines then quits. So it's not a fanuc control?

32 MP and the 88HS are the same settings for the RS-232. The RS-422 for the embedded PC is a different story.
