Fadal belt changes

We have several Fadal machines (6030-4020-4525's).We have been changing the belts during 6 month PM's.They run 2 shifts 5 sometimes 6 days a week.
the belts still look good when we change them for the most part.I was just trying to see how long everyone else goes between changes as with our economy in the shape its in we're trying to save money.
Thanks
Charlie

Belt life

The old style tripple v-belts last 2-3 years on our machines. (single shift)
The multi-rib belts go a verry long time. I have only replaced one because
it was squeeky, not worn or broken.

Belt Change

Hi Guys,
Call us lucky or maybe we don't work our machines hard enough
but we have a nineteen year old 4020HT that has only had the belts (triple
belt type) changed once and a eleven year old 3016HT with the newer type belts that have never been changed. Both machines average about forty hours per week running time. Usually not super fast and mostly aluminum. I can't say we have not had other problems but belts have not been one of them, knock on wood.
