I have a machine with a 32MP control.... this means the controller has a built in computer... normally we write a program directly to the hard drive on this on-machine computer then use the fadal software to dump the program into memory (which basically writes it out to the rs232 port on the machine) I am trying to figure out if there is a way to initiate this download via the computer we are actually writing the code on , so that it is not a 2 step process, and don't really want to run a 2nd rs232 line. So maybe there is a way to fire a batch file on the "machines" computer from the remote computer?? Thanks for any thoughts! |
