Problem- Fadal 4020 acting funny

Well today is just nothing but a pain for me when it comes to machines. Today my Fadal did something funny while running a 3D program. Is cut all sorts of crazy crap, then gave me a Baud rate error. I had to restart it then do a manual cold start. Now the machine is acting normal. But when i put a new piece of stock in there to re run the part, it does not run near as fast and it seems to pause when there is a Z movement when the other Axis's are running durining 3D machining.

There is also an accuracy issue with it if i tell it i need a round 1" pocket it always cuts it about .010" too small so i have been having to program everything .010 bigger.

I just got to this base and im willing to bet that the machine hasnt been serviced in a long time. I believe it was installed in 2000 or 2002, but i do know its a 2000 model, running format 1 with a Fanuc controller. Any ideas of anything i can try before i call to have someone come out and look at it?
