has anyone ever thread milled 0-80 internal thanks

I cant imagine what a 80TPI tool would cost. What is the pilot drill size? You can definately do just about any thread pitch in any diameter as long as it is large enough that the tool has integrity.

i think a 2-56 is the smallest i've done but if you can buy a single point tool with a small enough diameter, it will work.
i couldn't find any smaller then .060 dia. in the catalogs i had

you didn't mention what material or how deep.

a single point tool that can due 80 tpi is only 40 bucks in micro100 catalog
4-40 was the smallest threadmill at 120 bucks

I've threadmilled with my fadal with success. Nothing as small as a 0-80 though.
