    Fadal coolant pump/motor

Does anyone know where to get a inexpensive 220/240v, 3 phase coolant pump? We have one right now (from Enco), but the volume is lacking. It's only 1/8 hp, don't know if the amount of hp is related to the volume or not. The motor doesn't list the volume (gallons per minute). Looked at Fadal's pumps, but there's got to be a cheaper motor out there that will perform. Any ideas?

Changing the motor out of the Fadal pump will not change the effective GPM of the pump.

Possibilities are - The motor as lacking in power and stalling out.
    - The motor is the wrong RPM.
    - Nothing wrong with the motor but the pump is wore out.

I don't know about your area but here that motor would cost me less than $150 to replace and likely be repairable at my local motor shop for under $60.

The motor is new. It's not a Fadal motor. When we bought our 2216, it came from Ford and they had a over head(?) coolant system and this machine had no motor or tank. So we bought a little setup from Enco. I can run either 110v or 220v. I just need something with more volume.

Then you aren't having a motor problem. You have a complete coolant system problem.

You will have to buy a coolant system with a high volume pump capable of high head pressure.

"Gray" may sell a suitable unit (KBC tools).
You will want a tank that holds at least 20 gallons and IMO that is still way too small. Should be 40 -50 gallons.
