need you help on memory for 95 vm15xt

Hello
I am going to buy a machine the start up a machine shop part time.
I have been looking and have found a few but only have 422k memory, they are tring to sell me a usb card as they call it that give you 1 gig.
I need at least 1 meg to run my first job which is a cad cam program which
I did not make ( is a proven progam from customer ) is this usb a drip feed
setup which I was told is a pain. Can you start in the middle off a program
easily does it take a long time to load the program. If you start in the middle of the program does it take a while to get there like if you were running it off your pc via rs 232 any help would be helpful I do not want to put money out of pocket and the machine not work as I need it to

this is my primary source of work large cad cam progams not any hsm just in depth parts

Sounds like you have the 1400-4 computer boards... that is what I have.

Cant help with your other questions as I just have small programs I load, and they all fit the memory on hand in my computer cards.

i have 2 fadals and bought calmotion usb setups you can dnc or put to machine memory very easily they come with 1 gig stick put you can run any size you want. i think if you clear your machine memory you can load about 4500 lines of code look them up and give calmotion a call mine was 550 bucks wery easy to install and get running i hope this helps you out.
