Any help will be really aprecited, I have a fadal 4020ht, and after some time of operation in normal condition, c axis stops, and show the message: Emergency stop - take appropriate action C axis fault(s) as follows error number #10 motor overload press the jog key to reset t emer. stop I reset the buttom and start again, x,y,z work ok. spindle orintation with no problem, tool change are ok. just after some hours of operation it happen Any Idea? |

| Start saving for a new Vector Drive. The errors you are describing point to a failing Vector Drive. You can try and tune the drive and get a bit more time on the drive but it (the Vector Drive) will soon fail. And usually when you need it most.

| Just to be on the safe side and less expesive side power down your machine then check every connection in the drive. make sure your connections are tight. when the drive on is you can wiggle some wires to see if it happens also , but unless your really careful it could be dangerous. loose connections wil cause this problems especially if the machine has been moved, it could also be the vibration of the machine and a loose wire. |
