I am moving my location and have recently purchased a fadal 4020 with a 24 position side mount tool changer can any body tell me what is the minimum height garage door my riggers can get away with? and once the machine is inside the shop what height I would need for the machine to operate?, and last but not least most garage floors seem to have 4" thick concrete is this enough for a 11000 lb machine. I am running a fadal 3016 at present in my garage and that seems to have worked out great. Thanks |

| With the head at tool change position you will need 115" clearance. You can unbolt the pendeflex and lay it down and also lay the Z axis motor down to get more clearance. The floor is best if it is 8 to 12" thick. With 4" you may find that the floor will flex some. Not good! Neal |
